It is a fantastic evening for all involved and is a testament to the genre of new wave that a band originally began as a fashion experiment remains relevant almost three decades later. They bring the same amount of eccentric energy and perform hits including 'Go Wild in the Country' with the same playful mannerisms. After releasing nine studio albums, Saito left in 1983. Originally consisting of guitarist and vocalists Kyoji Yamamoto and Mitsuhiro Saito, bassist Kenji Sano and drummer Toshihiro Niimi, they were one of the first Japanese metal bands.

After they announced a reunion in 2012, fans flocked to the gigs as the quartet lead by Leigh Gorman took to stages across the UK. Bow Wow are a Japanese rock band formed in 1975.

The founding member Malcolm McLaren was in partnership with esteemed British fashion designer Vivienne Westwood and the band was a fantastic way to take the clothing away from runways yet still display it to the public.Īlthough the group only released two albums, they still have a clear and dedicated following all these years later on both sides of the Atlantic for their diverse pop/punk/new wave sounds. Bow Wow Wow was originally formed as a celebration of both music and fashion which were connected by the new wave genre.
